Today Jason and I hit the seven year mark. Sometimes it doesn't seem like it has been that long and other times it seems like it's been a long time coming :) I remember our wedding day because I couldn't stop smiling. That whole day was a whirlwind of events (our sealing, then the family BBQ, and then our reception), and I remember how tired, but happy, we were at the end of the day.
Our first year of marriage we got to travel a few places and we bought our first home.
Right before our second anniversary, Emily joined our family, and we quickly learned that having a baby DOES change everything, but are so grateful that she joined our little family.
We sold our house in Utah, literally, on our third anniversary, and packed up our moving van. I remember that the hotel we were staying in put us in a room that was designed for "little people" (and with Jason at 6'6", you can imagine that) and on top of that, the bed was broken and slanted downward. The hotel was booked and so the only other room they had available was a conference room with a bed that pulled down out of the wall and they woke us up early that next morning to hurry up and clear out because they had a function that was going to be held in there.
We spent our fourth year of marriage settling into our new home and adjusting to life in Texas. I also found out that I was pregnant with Jacob.
Our fifth year of marriage, Jacob came along!
We spent our sixth year having fun with our kids. (would you believe that picture was taken at SPRING BREAK?)
Our marriage has had its ups and downs as all marriages do, but we have always been able to work through things and come out with a better understanding of each other in the end and I feel blessed because of that. I'm so grateful for Jason and for the friendship we share and have been able to build upon through the years.
I have no idea what this next year will hold for us, but I'm excited to find out.

Happy Anniversary! I can't believe it has been seven years...time flies.
Happy anniversary, Wow 7 big years. For some reason I thought you had been married longer than I have but I have a year of experience on you. It was cool to see in a brief bit what you have been up to the last 7 years. Life is definately full of suprises and excitement.
