Growing boy!

Jacob had his 18 month check-up today. We actually had it scheduled a few weeks ago, but the doctor had an emergency and had to reschedule. It worked out to schedule it for today since I had the day off anyway.

Here are his stats:

Weight - 28 pounds, 5 oz (this is actually less than he weighed last time...I was kind of surprised/worried, but the doctor said that is "normal" for this age because they're so active) - he is in the 75th percentile for weight

Height - 35 1/2 inches - 90th percentile (he grew 3 inches since his 15 month check-up!)

Head - can't remember the dimensions, but that was in the 90th percentile, too...it always cracks me up because Emily's head was always in the 10th percentile.

All of his milestones are right on track and the doctor was impressed with how verbal he is. Unfortunately, we found out that he has a really bad ear infection. I feel so bad because he hasn't really been himself the past couple of days, but I just figured it was because of the time change. We started antibiotics this afternoon and now I have another excuse to stay home tomorrow! :)
